to the god of artifice and plastic smiles
clones to the current fad
reflections of the latest pop icon
an excuse for your very being
pardon my revulsion as I puke
you who do not tread new frontiers
but only wish to follow in the footsteps
of so-called ‘celebrities’
destined to be, but never to achieve
a life that is yours
or dreams that matter…
